Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic which prevents the growth of bacteria, where Ornidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent with ability to counter the anaerobic bacteria and parasites. The combination is usually employed in the treatment of diarrhea, dysentery, gastrointestinal infection, and mixed infection. It can also be used in the treatment of gynaecological infections, urinary tract infections and abdominal infections.
