Ondansetron 4mg is available in the form of mouth-dissolving tablets as ONTROL-MD which is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting. The mechanism of action is that it blocks the serotonin receptors of the brain that cause vomiting. It is mainly taken to correct nausea and vomiting that are as a result of stomach infections, food poisoning and medical procedures.
